Giant Food Nutrition

I M WELL has engaged in a collaborative health and wellness partnership with Giant Food Nutrition, a component of Giant Food/Shop & Stop Supermarket. This partnership brings credential professionals in diet and nutrition to the I M WELL virtual summit platform. These professionals will deliver relevant nutritional courses to supercharge your health and wellness. These courses are free so you need to be there. This is one more step in I M's mission to transform your life!

Meet the Giant Food Nutrition Team

Kristen McGill, MS, RD, CSOWM, LDN, received her Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences at Penn State University and went on to do her dietetic internship through Penn State as well. She obtained her Master’s of Science in Food and Nutrition Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is board certified in obesity and weight management. Her career paths have included working as a clinical dietitian, long-term care, bariatrics and now retail! Kristen is always on the hunt for a “food adventure” whether it be a new restaurant or new type of cuisine to try. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, drawing and soaking up everything the DC scenery has to offer!

Angela Parreco, RD, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and has her certificate of training in pediatric weight management. Born and raised on Kent Island, she received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from University of Maryland, College Park. Angela loves seeing customers celebrate their accomplishments, no matter how big or small! As someone who does not love cooking, she likes to keep it simple but nutritious in the kitchen. Angela is a self-described cliche millennial who loves avocado toast, craft beer and podcasts.

Thu Huynh, RD, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist for Giant Food. Born and raised in Montgomery County, she received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at the University of Maryland, College Park and is currently working towards her Master’s in Dietetics Administration (MDA) from Utah State University. Thu especially loves helping the aging population live their best life. When she isn’t discovering new whole grains to add to her plate, she's fully embracing the Millennial Mom life at home and in Giant Food's Nutrition Made Easy blog. In her off time, she enjoys watching her succulents (and sons!) grow.
